Typhoon Ferdie has intensified further and now poses a threat to extreme Northern Luzon. At 4AM today, Ferdie was located at 510km East of Calayan (19.4N, 126.3E) with maximum winds/gustiness of (215/250kph) forecast to move WNW at 22kph.
According to PAGASA Forecaster, Metro Manila and nearby areas will only experience light to moderate rains. However, you can roll down billboards, when necessary, in areas affected by strong winds caused by Habagat to prevent damages for public safety. Coordinate with the site owner/caretaker to check weather status in the area.
Ferdie will leave PAR on Thursday, September 15.
For your information.
Stay safe everyone.
